Mel Gibson lifes hard to bear sometimes

Mel Gibson’s life has been “hard to bear” at times.

The 55-year-old actor who was accused of domestic violence by ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva last year compared his life to a “three-ring circus” and explained while everyone goes through tough points at one time or another, it is important to “get through it”.

“We all go through things that are hard to bear at some point or other, and we have to get through it,” he said. “About life, oh boy. You don’t want to hear about my three-ring circus.”

The Braveheart star who took a hiatus from acting from 2003 until 2010 also revealed he underwent a “metamorphosis” during his career break, which helped to make appearing in movies “interesting” for him once again.

“I got to a place where I thought, ‘I don’t know even know if I want to do this,’ and walked away for a while,” Mel said.

“When enough time has elapsed and you’ve gone through some sort of metamorphosis for yourself, when you come back to it it’s kind of interesting again.”
