Hines Ward is tasting the sweet flavor of victory!The Pittsburgh Steelers’ wide receiver and partner Kym Johnson won Dancing with the Stars‘ Mirror Ball trophy Tuesday night.
Coming in second place was Kirstie Alley and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, while Chelsea Kaneand Mark Ballas came in third.
“I owe it all to Kym. She’s an amazing teacher,” Ward, 35, gushed. “I also want to thank the judges… and I want to thank all the fans.”
On May 13, Johnson, 34, was rushed to the hospital after taking a nasty fall during rehearsals for DWTS. Despite her ailments, Ward and Johnson triumphed in the finals.
“I love Steeler nation,” he said. “I hope I’ve represented well for the city of Pittsburgh.”
