America Ferrera loves to cycle

America Ferrera has been using her bike since the end of Ugly Betty.

The 27-year-old actress has time to kill since the axing of her hit show and she doing most of it on two wheels. ”

My favorite thing to do is just ride my bike around the city,” says New Yorker America.

“I cycle around and catch a few shows. It’s great.”

But the actress is planning on getting back in the limelight soon.

“I have a few things lined up,” she adds. “Nothing that’s coming out yet but I’m excited about it.”

Nick Jonas has the theatre bug

Nick Jonas is keen to work more in the theatre.

The 18-year-old singer starred in a production of Les Miserables in London last year and is set to appear on stage in Los Angeles later in 2011 in a production of Hairspray and he is hopeful his career will always give him opportunities to showcase his acting talents in front of a live audience.

“Musical theater has a fond spot in my heart,” Nick said. “Hopefully, I’ll be able to do more of it.”

As well as his work with the Jonas Brothers, Nick released a solo album last year but is now keen to turn his talents to writing for other people.

“Back in December, I started writing and producing for other people. That’s been my focus this year. I also scored a video game, which was really fun,” he said.

“It’s been an opportunity to be just as productive as I am with my brothers. I hope that I can have a voice with my brothers, on my own and through other people.”

Nick is also working on an online talent contest for singers aged between eight and 14 and is hopeful the scheme will help a young person on the way to the success he has enjoyed.

“If there’s a kid out there who is like me at that age, I’d love to guide them to a happy life and career in music,” he said.

Lady Gaga wear make-up to bed

Self-promotion: The singer was wearing a dress that had an image of her own face on the front

Lady Gaga sleeps in full make-up.

The Born This Way singer real name Stefani Germanotta is often the subject of her friends’ jokes because she rarely takes her extravagant stage make-up off before going to bed.

“I’ve got to wash my face at some point,” she said.

“I do get laughed at quite a bit by all my friends because they say I go to sleep a lot with my make-up on. But I say that I have to be ready for the men in my dreams!”

The 25-year-old pop star who is single after splitting from boyfriend Luc Carl has admitted she started experimenting with unusual make-up while she was still in school, making her a target for classroom bullies.

“They’d say, ‘Why do you do your make-up like that, what’s with your eyebrows?’” she said.

“I used to do these really big Evita brows. I used to self-tan, and I had this really intense tan in school, and people would say, ‘Why the f**k are you so orange, why do you do your hair that way, are you a dyke?’

“I used to be called a sl*t … I didn’t even want to go to school sometimes.”

Meanwhile Gaga made a proclamation that definitely wasn't a good look yesterday when she accidentally called American Vogue editor Anna Wintour a 'b****'.

The star had been texted after she won the coveted Fashion Icon gong at the Council Of Fashion Designers Of America award show on Monday.

Thinking it was from another friend called Anna, Gaga replied: 'Yes, b****, we did it!”
