Macho Man Randy Savage killed in car accident

Wrestling star: 'Macho Man' Randy Savage died today in a car accident
Former WWF wrestler 'Macho Man' Randy Savage has died following a car accident in Tampa, Florida
TMZ confirmed the news with Savage's brother Lanny Poffo, who explained that Savage suffered a heart attack while driving earlier this morning with his wife.
Savage is believed to have subsequently lost control of his Jeep Wrangler, and veered through oncoming traffic before colliding head on with a tree.
Savage's wife Lynn was only mildly injured; however, Savage himself was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries. He was 58 years old.
A statement posted on WWE.com read: "WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of one of the greatest Superstars of his time, Randy Poffo, a.k.a. Randy 'Macho Man' Savage.
"Our sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends. We wish a speedy recovery to his wife Lynn. [He] will be greatly missed by WWE and his fans."
The wrestler's career spanned more than 20 years, during which time Savage won seven heavyweight titles, including two in the then WWF and four in the now defunct WCW.
Savage celebrated his one-year anniversary with wife Lynn earlier this month.
