Kelsey Grammer has filed for sole custody of his two children.
The Frasier star who has Mason, nine, and six-year-old Jude with ex-wife Camille Grammer has reportedly lodged legal papers with the Los Angeles County Superior Court in an attempt to obtain sole physical custody of the youngsters.
According to gossip website TMZ, the 56-year-old actor has rejected his former spouse’s custody offer of 50-50 care split between the two of them.
However, with Kelsey who married 29-year-old Kayte Walsh in February currently based in Chicago and his children registered in schools in Los Angeles, it is not clear where he would want the kids to live if his request were to be granted.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the actor has refused to comment on the custody battle, saying the filing of the legal papers “speaks for itself”.
“Any statement would be inappropriate,” said the spokesman. “The filing speaks for itself.”
