Justin Bieber launching women's fragrance

Just when you thought Justin Bieber's influence on his teenage fans could not get any bigger, he's now deciding what they should smell like.

The 17-year-old is launching a fruity floral scent for girls next month. 

And he is cheekily calling it Someday, offering a glimmer of hope to his fans - who call themselves Beliebers - that one day he might be all theirs.

'Let’s be real, the way a girl smells is very important to a guy!'  Bieber told WWD. 

'I have such a deep connection with my fans, so creating a fragrance that I personally love is another way I can bring them closer to my world.'

If that sounds a little creepy, there is a huge silver lining to the endorsement. 
Proceeds from sales of the perfume, which is expected to raise millions, will all go to the singer's favourite charities including Pencils of Promise and the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

But Bieber said the perfumier had 'really let me take the lead on the entire project - because I know my fans better than anyone - from working with the team on the development of the fragrance itself to helping to design the bottle and packaging.'

He did a good job. The bottles are simple and elegant with a small transparent round container at the bottom and a big heart-shaped red rose on top.

They bear a remarkable resemblance to the classy bottles of Marc Jacobs' Lola perfume - which can't be a bad thing, unless you're Marc Jacobs.

Someday will sell for $35 or $55 depending on the size of the bottle, and the fringe fanatic will also be launching a hair mist version of the scent.

Terry Richardson, who recently directed Mango's latest adverts starring Kate Moss, shot the print adverts for the perfume. They star the beautiful Dree Hemingway. 

Robert Lee is also shooting an TV advert in the gravity-free cabin of a NASA training jet.

Yes, world domination is clearly just weeks away.
